I'm a front-end developer with more than 10 years experience delivering online solutions for B2B and B2C clients. My competencies include programming, information architecture, design, technical writing, and technology strategy. I'm comfortable working across the full lifecycle of Agile site and app development, from concepting through execution and post-launch administration and revision.
From initial sketches to comps, from design review to pixel-perfect Photoshop work, I've got you covered. A good site starts with solid creative.
Wireframes, interface design, user interaction, usability analysis, prototyping, content structuring and hierarchy—I've done the behind-the-scenes work that helps sites and apps feel friendly, accessible and uncomplicated.
I typically design with HTML5, CSS3, PHP, and JQuery / Javascript. I'm partial to Bootstrap and Wordpress, but have worked with other varieties of CMS and current front-end frameworks.
Oversaw the development and incremental update of several versions of the Avenue corporate site. (I've been involved with three iterations of this site.) The current version of the site is a custom, responsive Wordpress theme that has continued to evolve over the past two years.

Avenue refreshed TransUnion's brand identity. Once the creative component was complete, a set of guidelines and technical specs were developed to maintain the integrity of the TU brand. This site outlines the brand identity for internal and external creative personnel. Particular focus is paid to online usage, and the site includes working code examples. I wrote most of the technical copy in addition to my development role.

I helped develop an administration area for a number of Tork iPad apps. The backend allows authorized personnel to add distributors, add or modify the products shown in the apps, and control the products each distributor sees. All distributor and product data is written to JSON files, while all image data is automatically uploaded to an Amazon S3 repository. End users are notified when relevant data is modified by an administrator.

Created a number of niche-specific microsites for Tork North America (a division of Swedish multinational SCA). Each site targets an industry segment (e.g., foodservice) or highlights a Tork product (e.g., industrial wipes). Sites are responsive and include some code-based animation.
